Resilience Builder Program®
2022 Summer Groups
Due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions imposed and recommended to ensure everyone’s health and safety, we are offering summer groups via telehealth this summer. Telehealth sessions are conducted via a HIPAA-secure video platform, Zoom. When participating in group via telehealth, your child must be in a private space and use headsets, as needed, to maximize confidentiality for all group members. You must also sign our Telehealth Via Videoconferencing Agreement, if you have not already done so.
We have developed a schedule for our summer groups (see below). The schedule is subject to change depending on demand and the needs of those in each group. We ask that you are patient with us as we try to arrange for groups that will accommodate as many as possible.
Dates of Group
The Summer Semester generally begins in early to mid-June and continues through the end of July. Note: some groups may continue through mid-August as an option, if there is enough interest.
Registration Deadline
We offer registration priority to those already enrolled in our groups. For those enrolled in our Spring groups, priority registration exists until April 25th for the Summer semester. Following April 25th, the groups are open to those on the waitlist on a first-come, first served basis. To be added to our waitlist, please contact our intake coordinator at 301-593-6554 x23.
If you need a Summer registration form, please click here to print a copy: Summer Registration Form. (Must be accompanied with the nonrefundable deposit.) PLEASE NOTE: For those new to our groups, an intake is required prior to registration. See FAQ question #6.
The schedule below is subject to change, as a minimum enrollment of three or four (3 or 4) registrants per group is required for a group to begin. Youth are grouped by age and gender. We also offer groups for youth who are high functioning but have symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other social impairments. These groups are co-ed and listed as ASD. Most groups are 60 minutes per session.
