The workshop will serve as a Part 2 to the CBT for OCD talk; however, any intermediate-level clinician will benefit.
Specific techniques, including cognitive strategies such as loop & uncertainty training recordings will be taught in more detail. Imaginal exposure will be taught and examples will be provided. Participants will learn the basics of inference-based CBT. Exposure/response prevention will be explained in detail, and multiple cases will be reviewed to illustrate the methods and effectiveness of ERP. The treatment of complex OCD cases will be reviewed in detail. Finally, case examples focused on familial participation in treatment will be provided.
