This workshop focuses on learning ways to teach parents effective strategies to help children follow directions and improve a variety of behaviors from basic hygiene like toileting to more extreme problematic behaviors like fire setting or animal cruelty.  Participants will learn about the principles of behavioral reinforcement and how to effectively use and develop positive reinforcement programs to increase positive behaviors through effective prompts and praise.  Participants will also learn and rehearse instructing parents to calmly implement mild punishments.
